GNSS-independent navigation
Fixed-wing drones that keep flying when GNSS fails
A compact module that keeps fixed-wing aircraft on course when satellite navigation is jammed or spoofed.
What we build
A compact add-on module for ArduPilot fixed-wing aircraft. A downward camera and an onboard computer recognise the terrain below, match it against map imagery and send absolute position fixes to the autopilot — without any satellite or radio signal. Between fixes, calibrated dead reckoning keeps the aircraft on course.
- Two independent matchers must agree before a fix is used — designed for zero false positions.
- Works with the ArduPilot autopilot operators already use.
- Works with any orthophoto or satellite imagery.
- Cold start and launch without GNSS or radio link.
